Attending a Halloween party with my daughter. All she’s interested in is scoring candy. I did a social / friendly run for about thirty minutes. Burnt out my extrovert reserves for the next month. I pity the fool(s) that will / are planning to give me grief in the near future.
Different levels of people, and their level of competence or intelligence insist on challenging common sense, reality, tolerance, (add your own here). I absolutely disavow and claim to superiority in those areas, BUT, I am beyond fed up with everyone and their inbred relatives pestering me for assistance.
Take ownership of yourself! Be responsible! Get educated – even on the simplest things. The amerikan education system has provided Nothing! Grab an average forty-year-old off the street, give them a ten question test, mixed matter from first to eighth grade; plot the scores. I want to (but can’t) bet it’ll be a ‘U’ curve. Maybe only a downward slope, with zero entrants at the ten correct level.
For those of you better prepared / equipped to handle the riff-raff, solutions anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Thinking of battle tactics, ala Sun Tsu, you can go around your enemies (four directions if you consider under), go through them, misdirect them, or avoid / retreat. I’ll recheck that chapter, and add Von Klauswitz for backup. Our opponents have the old OSS list of sabotage and the (misattributed) Chomsky list.
But when your enemies have developed themselves to the point of a divine mania, logic usually fails. I checked the record for Indian Thugees v. the East India Company (a whole other level of corruption and depravity), and found that Thugees that were caught usually ended up imprisoned at hard labor (1830’s meaning ‘until death’)
The conservative pundits banter about liberal FEMA camps and Hillary’s reeducation pogroms. But liberals never quote parallel ideas from conservatives. Why? Circular argument: take responsibility for your own actions. Or in Twitter language: FAFO.
