Would that he had this ‘novel coronavirus flu’. Point: depending on which set of numbers you believe (by age, location, Barfmouths (formerly called journalists), co-morbidity, whatever); the OVERALL death rate in the US for 2020 is only slightly higher ~200k more than 2019. Take that and spin it!
Every year that I can remember, not many nowadays, the media flu warnings start out in early August, crest in late September and again in January. Last year, it started normally but petered off after the first crest. Replaced by COVID-19. Unless the media were warned ahead of time to hold off of the January crest ‘for something more reportable), why? It’s not like there’s many thought processes involved in pulling stock footage and assembling a repetitious broadcast.
