The definitions of wisdom and intelligence are often confused, misused, or misunderstood. I can only admit to having as much of either, as was apportioned at birth*.
* my supposition is that; intelligence is genetically based, knowledge is accumulated, and wisdom is acquired by usage of an unknowable formula which includes – but not limited to – elements of time, intelligence, and knowledge
The pathetic whining of the title (let’s call it what it is), comes from experiencing events of the previous week in my little corner of the planet. Retardation (have to use the word SJWs, because ‘intellectually disabled’ leaves out so many…) in possibly, every area of existence is both rampant and expected. Even desired by some.
As described in some studies, humans interpret ‘life’ in rings: self, local area, etc. Yet this understanding leaves out gargantuan lists of people, places, and things that affect ‘the self’. Might be third-order removed, or some lesser excuse. Fact (okay, my fact; a suggestion to you) is that holiday cheer, whatever delusion you call it, is fake.
Or a choice. Or neither and both. The fakery, the pretending that is amplified seasonally (used to; it’s been artificially expanded throughout the year), is slowly being exposed. I won’t bore you with cherry-picked examples; the fake veneer is thin enough for anyone to find examples.
As usual, my rant looks like a set of unconnected variables. I used to be able to write these posts linearly. Starting with the self – yourself, you are being bombarded with retarded people, places, and things. The goal is to bring your self down to a common denominator. Acceptance of the status quo is both a failure (of the self) and an A+ on your report card, magnanimously granted by society.
That, and a fractional increase in the cost of everything, with a fractional decrease in the size of edible consumer products, means…
